About

Octet Méditerranée is an independent software studio in the south of France. Every app is designed, built, and supported in-house.

The apps are, admittedly, the curiosities of a rather nerdy developer. Each one exists because I wanted a tool badly enough to search the App Store, find nothing that actually did the job, and get irritated enough to build it properly myself.

How the apps are built

Everything is native: Swift and SwiftUI — iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. I have a deliberate bias for on-device processing: transcription, statistics, and storage happen on the phone, not on a server I would have to run and you would have to trust. Distribution is through the App Store, support is by email, and there are no accounts, ads, or analytics anywhere.
