Annologue is designed as a private audiobook player. Your audiobook files, library, listening activity, highlights, annotations, and app settings are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or otherwise send them elsewhere.

Data collected by Annologue
Annologue does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal data to the developer.
Annologue does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking data, audiobook titles, filenames, file paths, listening history, playback position, highlights, annotations, or library contents.
Annologue does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Local app data
Annologue stores data locally on your device so that the app can function. This may include:
- audiobook files imported into the app;
- audiobook metadata;
- chapter information;
- playback position;
- highlights and annotations;
- import and processing status;
- app settings;
- local export or backup files, if you choose to create them.
This data remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, sync, or delete it using Annologue, iOS, or another app or service.
LibriVox
Annologue may provide an interface for browsing or downloading public-domain audiobooks from LibriVox.
When you use LibriVox-related features, your device may connect to LibriVox or related services in order to search for, display, or download audiobook content. These requests are handled by those external services and may be subject to their own privacy practices.
Annologue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LibriVox.
Exports, backups, and sharing
Annologue may allow you to export audiobooks, highlights, annotations, metadata, or backups.
Exports are created only when you choose to create them. Once you export, share, save, or back up data outside Annologue, the handling of that data depends on the destination you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, another app, email, AirDrop, or another storage provider.
Diagnostics and analytics
The current version of Annologue does not collect analytics or send diagnostic data to the developer.
Annologue does not currently collect crash reports, usage events, performance metrics, or error logs on the developer's servers.
Apple may separately provide developers with crash reports, App Store analytics, sales information, or diagnostic information through Apple's developer tools, subject to Apple's own privacy policies and the user's device and App Store settings.
In-app purchases
The current version of Annologue does not include in-app purchases.
If in-app purchases are added in the future, purchases will be processed by Apple through the App Store. This Privacy Policy will be updated if Annologue begins collecting or receiving any additional data in connection with purchases.
Children's privacy
Annologue does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Data retention
Because Annologue does not collect personal data on the developer's servers, the developer does not retain personal data about you.
Data stored locally by Annologue remains on your device until you delete it, delete the relevant audiobook or annotation, reset the app, or uninstall the app.
Your choices
You can delete Annologue's local data by deleting audiobooks, deleting exports or backups you created, resetting app data where available, or uninstalling the app from your device.
You can manage device-level permissions, storage, iCloud, backups, and app data through iOS Settings.
Third-party services
Annologue does not use third-party advertising or tracking services.
Annologue may interact with external services only when needed for app functionality, such as downloading public-domain audiobook data from LibriVox or opening, exporting, or sharing files through iOS system features.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Annologue's features change, including if analytics, diagnostics, syncing, accounts, cloud services, or in-app purchases are added.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
